Finnegan has a jillion cool projects going, but he’s been trying to keep this one a bit of a secret while tickling us all with posts on his new engine build over at ACE. He’s going to give us a bit of a sneak peak in this latest video though and showing off the engine that will power it. This car is more seriously built than anything he’s run before, because this one is aiming to run 6’s at 200 in the quarter during events like Drag Week and Rocky Mountain Race Week. You’ll remember that he wanted to do just that with the Corvette project he started on last year, but there are reasons why that isn’t happening now and he’ll go over it in the video. You gotta watch, cause whatever the hell this thing is, it is going to be cool.
Video Description:
Episode 293 is a banger cause the car I’ve been teasing you about for over a year is finally in my garage and being worked on. In this video we show you portions of my new drag and drive beast, a car that hopefully is fast enough to trip the beams of a 1/4 mile dragstrip in under 7 seconds at over 200 mph. Powering the project is a custom-built 400ci LS engine crafted by Ace Racing Engines in Torrance, California.
This car already has a good starting point because I bought it as a roller featuring an aftermarket tube chassis, Weld Racing wheels, Mickey Thompson tires, and a Fueltech FT-600 efi system.
