If you are planning on doing some bad stuff and then running from the law to get away, we highly suggest that you skip Raleigh, North Carolina, as those boys are packing the hariest high-speed pursuit car in the nation, a 2007 Corvette Z06.
Seems the police seized the car from a criminal, and rules being what they are, the cops are allowed to keep the vehicle and put it into service for their own good. We think it totally rules and it will probably pay off big for them in catching people doing bad stuff. Is there a cooler unmarked car in America? Probably not.
There are several people in the community who are not impressed with the coppers having this hot rod. They think that the car should have been sold to help fund school programs and that the maintenance on the car will be too expensive to justify its use.
The chief is sticking by his guns and the car has been upfitted with all the copper stuff like radios and a computer. Raleigh cops have to be fighting over who gets to patrol in this baddie.
