The famed SS 396 Camaros, Chevelles, and Impalas were arguably some of the most influential muscle cars in history as they spawned a completely new level of competition in the pony wars. While you could get a 325 horsepower 396, or a 350 horsepower 396, the famed 375 horsepower combo was the one to have if you had the money.
