Since blowing it up on Drag Week, Finnegan’s Blasphemi has been getting lots of love in preparation for the next chapter of fun and racing. Part of that is some more driveline work in the form of a midplate and then there’s tuning of course. Part of that also includes new headers and a few other tweaks for big power. How much will it make? And after it is done, what is next for Blasphemi? Watch to find out.
Video Description:
This episode 249 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage and we are bringing the heat. My friend and co-pilot Tony Angelo is back and we are actually doing pre-race rep on Blasphemi, rather than just throwing the engine in the car and showing up to race. Tony has a channel called Stay Tuned and its awesome. You can watch it here: / @staytunedta
We visited Andy Weyenberg in Mooresville, North Carolina to install a mid-plate between the Hemi and the G-Force six-speed transmission. You can see the install on an upcoming episode of Andy’s show, Real Garage, which can be found here: / @uchmzkb17yqotqsv… Next, we fixed a massive leak in the rearend of Blasphemi and that didn’t go so easily as both axles were stuck in the housing. We got creative to remove them and in the end, Tony does what Tony does best: beat the things into submission. Finally, we change my homebuilt headers for massive set of cannons that came from Stainless Headers Manufacturing before heading over to Harrell Engine and Dyno to tune the car. You can get more info on Stainless Headers products here: https://www.stainlessheaders.com
Pete Harrell has his own channel where he teaches the important lessons in life such as engine building and expert up arrow manipulation. Go here to watch him: https://www.youtube.com/@realgoodatdo… Thanks for the watching and if you’d like to help support the channel then please go to https://www.fsmgarage.com and order a shirt, hat or stickers. Every dollar goes right back into the cars, trucks and boats on this channel.
