Photos: More Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, Customs, And Trucks From Our Last Blast Of SoCal Quarantine Cruise Photos!

(Photos by Wes Allison) This is it, the last blast of photos from the July Quarantine Cruise in SoCal. These events have become a huge part of the SoCal car culture and draw huge car count. And why not, you have great SoCal weather, tons of parking, and you get to cruise PCH, the Pacific Coast Highway. They started this during some of the worst parts of the COVID 19 Pandemic, and got people to understand that just because you couldn’t sit in a restaurant or gather in large groups in public, didn’t mean you couldn’t drive your car to a meeting spot, sit in it and wait for the cruise to start, and then follow everyone down Pacific Coast Highway. Creativity baby! And now that gatherings are okay you can walk around the show before and after the cruising.

The SoCal Quarantine Cruises are something special because they are both a parking lot style car cruise-in and an on-road event all in one. There are a ton of cars and trucks on site and the variety is crazy and awesome to look at. This is our second batch of photos, so check them out and stay tuned because we have more for tomorrow too!

When you talk about driving events, like the Quarantine Cruise, or even local Cruise-Ins, it is really hard to beat the action in SoCal. I lived there for more than a decade and can tell you that the number of automotive things going on is second to none. Of course a huge part of that is the weather, but it’s also because the culture there is so car-centric. It’s the home of hot rodding, there are tons of hot rod parts companies, builders, and enthusiasts there and it just shows. Plus, with no rust there are a lot of old rides still around even if they haven’t been restored. So it is no surprise that the Quarantine Cruise is such a big hit and brings out such badass rides. We approve and are super thankful for the great photos from Wes Allison.

Check out the gallery below, and remember you can click on any photo to make it big and then click the arrows to go through them all. There are some really fun and cool cars in this one, like a real deal Roadrunner wing car doing the cruise. We love it!
