2018 SEMA Show Gallery: Things To Love And Things To Sneer On The Floor At SEMA

2018 SEMA Show Gallery: Things To Love And Things To Sneer On The Floor At SEMA

(Photos by the author) – The fun thing about SEMA is that you never know what lurks around each particular corner. Because companies sometimes move spots and that there’s no 100% cut and dry location for specific things, you’ll often be looking at two opposite ends of the automotive spectrum on either side of an aisle. The off-road Challenger you’ll see in this gallery was right by and OEM boot with a bunch of polished exotic cars and stuff next to it. That’s the fun of the deal. Your head is constantly on a swivel.

One of my favorite vehicles from the show is in this gallery. There is a blue bump side Ford truck that is just perfection. Sitting all long and low on a copper colored set of wheels and drenched in a nice light blue paint job. Myself and pro mod racer Jim Bell were drooling on that one after the show ended and people cleared out one night. It has the Crown Vic front clip under it and just personifies all the stuff I like in modern truck building.

The Edsel in the lead photo was a stunner as well. Just a beautiful turned out piece for sure.

In this 2018 SEMA show gallery you’ll have stuff to cheer and sneer…promise. Check out the images.

Brian, great gallery as usual. I liked the Ford trucks too, but both of them you showed were dent sides not bumpsides. Just sayin’.

Yes on the 73 to 79 type being dent not bump.
Loads of nice 67-72 styles there too.
That Brazilian B100 is an example of what Brian is saying. Walked past it several times before I even saw it! Things like another car on the other side of the aisle and huge crowds can easily distract.
