(Photos by Mike Brooks) – It’s been all over the place in terms of the mechanical fun that we have showed you from the 2019 Summit Racing Equipment Piston Powered Expo in Cleveland, right? Well, today we have a little direction for you as this gallery is heavy on the hot rods and gasser action. We’re not talking a load of weirdo, modern, overdone gassers either. No we are talking period correct pieces, some of which have amazing race history. Take Jim Oddy’s 1948 Austin for example. We became friends with “Trouble” who restored the car as the project was going on. We understand that he is not longer able to enjoy the car but we are very happy to see it being shown off the way he always did.

Beyond that there are loads of cool hot rods. Some sitting high, some sitting low, some packing huge horsepower, and some just looking like they are ready for a fight. We’re done with words, you need to start check out out the photos!
