Aeromotive Introduces the Phantom Returnless EFI Fuel Pump – EFI Conversions Just Got Easier And More Reliable

This is awesome news! When we get to type stuff like, “Aeromotive introduces the Phantom returnless EFI Fuel Pump,” it makes us smile because we know this is a product that BangShift readers like you can use and use right now. This is a cool development on 100 levels but some of the best are the facts that EFI conversions will be easier with this pump without having to run a return line, the pump will be more reliable than current inline returnees pumps because this pump is in the tank with the fuel, and it is made by Aeromotive so we know it will be kick ass.

You are talking about an easy install here, a proven product, and you do not have to worry about the typical mounting concerns or anything else. A game changer from Aeromotive…again!

Aeromotive Introduces the Phantom Returnless EFI Fuel Pump –
Ideal for Cost Effective EFI Conversions

Lenexa, KS, (February 20, 2018)…Aeromotive, the market leader in fuel delivery systems, is proud to announce its new, high performance Phantom Returnless EFI fuel pump and baffle system.  The Phantom Returnless has a built in by-pass valve set for 58-PSI of line pressure, eliminating the need for an external regulator and return line from the engine. The all-in-one Phantom fuel system adapts to any fuel tank from 6- 11” in depth and includes the patented Phantom foam and bladder baffle to maintain fuel flow and pressure even when the tank is low on fuel.

“Designed to be quieter, more efficient and affordable, this system is ideal for EFI conversions and motor swaps for early model muscle cars and street rods,” states Steve Matusek, president of Aeromotive.

The new Phantom Returnless supports up to 600 FWHP naturally aspirated and up to 450 FWHP forced induction on gasoline. The pump assembly features an internal bypass valve providing a stable 55-60 PSI and includes outlet and vent ports, foam baffle and bladder sump, sealing gasket, high flow pre-pump filter, and C-Ring mount. The kit is gasoline and ethanol compatible, and the turbine pumping mechanism can be pulse modulated, making it ideal for late model GM crate engines. The Phantom system fits inside the tank without the need for welding or extensive fabrication. Installation requires minimal hand tools including a simple drill and 3-1/4” hole-saw.  ORB-06

The Phantom Returnless EFI in-tank fuel pump eliminates hot fuel handling problems and vapor lock caused by cavitation while controlling fuel slosh in order to keep fuel at the pickup point (the pump inlet) at all times; even when the tank is low on fuel or during extreme driving conditions.
