With electronic fuel injection becoming so readily available, more and more hot rodders are asking themselves whether or not an EFI conversion is right for their hot rod, muscle car, or classic truck. And the truth is that this isn’t just a yes or no question. I say this because it really depends on what you are trying to achieve and how you drive your car. But let’s assume you have good reason to want to make the conversion, now you have to decide on which kind of system to use. I know, it sounds like it is about to get confusing. But it really isn’t, it just requires you to put a little thought into it and to answer the questions truthfully. There are no wrong answers when it comes to how you like to enjoy your hot rod. If you like driving it single digit miles during shows and parking it all weekend, that’s okay. If you like driving it daily, more power to you. And anywhere in between is great as well.
In the video below, Franky and Pat from Engine Power walk you through what you need to know about conversions, and your car, in order to make the right choice.
