If you have never built an engine at home, then you might want to check this out! We’re following along as Chad from Squarebody Stuff starts the 454 build for his project truck they call Creampuff. The first step is going to be getting the freeze plugs in the block and luckily that’s a pretty simple process as long as you remember a few key tips that Chad is going over.

The great news is that it doesn’t require any special tools to install them. A hammer and socket will work, a bearing race installer tool works out too. This is why no special tools are actually required.
