It’s time for some more oil tech, but this time we’re talking about oil filters, and not the oil itself. If I had a quarter for every opinion I’ve heard about oil filters over the years, I’d be in Elon territory. From brand preferences to install techniques, and everything in between, I’ve heard it all. But besides that, we’ve also heard conflicting information on anti-drain back valves and bypass valves.
And it’s not that I don’t listen, but I am kind of skeptical of some of the stuff I read on FB or wherever when those same folks post some of the other crap they do online. I prefer to go with facts and science and that is what my friend Lake Speed Jr. is all about. So when I want info on oil, filters, etc, I’m going to listen to him. And here is his video on oil filters and how they work.
