If you’ve never seen one of these long-runner Mopar Long Ram, aka cross-ram, intake manifolds then you are missing out. These things look so amazing in the engine compartment and quite frankly look like they could never work. Even though we know that the vacuum signal will obviously still get to the carbs, the length and angle of the runners makes your brain question the logic. With that said, we know that long runners make big torque. So does this intake really make gobs and gobs of tire smoking torque? Watch the test and find out.

Nick worked with engines for 52 years before he got to work on a long ram intake.. now he has two in the shop. First it was the 413 and now this 440 torque beast is on the dyno. Here we GO!

    Those long ram intakes on the Chrysler 300 “letter cars”, where to improve passing power between 50 and 80 mph.

    They worked.
