We all know that a Big Block Chevrolet can make big power, that’s no secret. But with modern parts and technology they can make insane power easier than ever. But they can’t necessarily do that for cheap, unless you get creative or do some really smart shopping.
Video Description:
JUNKYARD BIG BLOCK POWER! This week Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned dudes get back on their junkyard big block build for Mike Kunz’s (video guy) chopped and t-topped ’83 C10. After a comedy of errors the week before, the boys finally got parts together, and got to work. Using the original Mark IV block and crank, rods from the junkyard Gen 5 engine, a set of dome pistons, and a rack of parts from Summit Racing, the guys wrapped up the build and took it to Chris over at Wilson Racing engines to see what kind of power their BBC creation would make. Would it make big power, or be a big flop? STAY TUNED to find out!
