Too much cam… is that a thing? Well, it might be in some instances, but what about in your junkyard 5.3? I know I’m looking to swap a 5.3 into a square-body Suburban before too long and I want it to be a daily drivable light-duty town rig so I want more power than the stock 5.3 provides, but it certainly isn’t going to be a race car. I bring this up, because I watch all these cam test videos from Richard in order to make an educated decision on which camshaft will be right for my own project, and want you to do the same thing for your project.
