Every cam is a turbo cam, or at least that’s what Richard Holdener always says, but what camshaft is “best” under boost? Sure, any engine, with whatever camshaft is in it, will make more power under boost. But if you want to take advantage of that boost and make as much power as you can at a particular boost level, then a few parts can make a huge difference. Camshafts are one of those parts. But does that mean you need some giant camshaft to make the power for your boosted driver? Probably not. Camshafts control the power curve of an engine and that power curve naturally aspirated is the same as the power curve with boost, it just moves up to show the increase in horsepower.
