Memphis, TN – COMP Cams® combines the Keyway Adjustable Billet Timing Sets for Three-Bolt LS Engines with the proven C5-R Single Timing Chain to produce a race ready timing set with 8 degrees of advance/retard adjustment (16 degrees total).
COMP Cams® is now offering an all-out racing, single timing set for GM LS Engines. This kit features premium CNC- machined sprockets from billet bar steel, which is induction heat-treated for the perfect balance between long-term durability and extreme load capacity. Sets are hand-matched before shipping to ensure a qualified center distance and the smallest possible runout. These billet gears are keyway adjustable, allowing you to fine tune your camshaft timing. The gears allow for 8 degrees of adjustment of either advance or retard, which gives you 16 total degrees of adjustment range. The kit also includes a roller bearing for added performance and durability.
The Keyway Adjustable Billet Timing Sets use the C5-R Racing Chain as standard equipment. This chain is the strongest single chain available and is pre-stretched and heat-treated with fine blanked links and press fit center links to avoid further stretching or breaking, which can lead to timing errors or internal engine damage. This kit is ideal for street, strip, or race LS engines that will see high RPM, need cam timing adjustment capability, and desire a dependable but lightweight timing set.
