A couple years ago, Finnegan bought a new to him drag boat that he named Side Chick. And this boat was set to stay in California so that Mike could fly in and race it and have fun. But it just gave him headache after headache as the engine was just not good. It had all the right parts, and was supposed to be awesome, but unfortunately it wasn’t reliable and it caused all kinds of headaches and it turns out that lots of stuff was wrong. A lot of stuff. But was it fixable?
Yes it was! Between him and Peter Harrell at HED, they were able to get this thing back into shape and make real power with it before even putting on any power adders. If you missed that video, use the link below.

But that video was in December and it’s now been several months and so we’re ready to see the engine in the boat, and the boat on the water, and a huge rooster tail to be blowing in the wind behind it as it hauls ass across the lake. Will that happen in this video? YES YES YES!
Watch.
Video Description:
For the 352nd Episode of Finnegan’s Garage we uncover my carbon fiber jet boat, dust it off, install the rebuilt 632ci Big Block Chevy, and got it running. Then we chased gremlins in the electrical system until finally, the boat ripped across my local lake. We made 11 passes and she’s still running perfectly!
