I think everyone that has built a performance engine should run it on an engine dyno or in the car on a chassis dyno. They are truth tellers, help with tuning, and are fun! I know I’m incredibly lucky to have spent so much time on the engine dyno at Westech Performance and a few others. I’ve also spent nearly as much time on the chassis dyno at a variety of locations. We had our own Mustang chassis dyno when I worked at Spectre Performance and we used it regularly. Dynos are fun. But more importantly, they are a hugely important tool for race and performance engine tuning. This is why we love this video from Real Good at Doin’ Stuff, the youtube channel for Harrell Engine and Dyno.
