January 2020 Pomona Swap Meet Photo Coverage: The Fairplex Was Packed With People, Parts, and Cool Stuff!

(Photos by Wes Allison) –  At the end of the day all of us who love cars and trucks have a few things in common. We are attracted to the stuff we like for reasons of emotion, style, horsepower, or image. We chase the stuff we like because the thrill is in the hunt and actually finding the right thing to add to your collection or resume. Swap meets play right into our wheelhouses in this way. The event itself is a reason to have a mini-adventure. A place filled with promise and potential automotive fulfillment. It’s also full of thousands of people who all have the same thing in mind!

These photos are all cars and trucks that would make a good home with the right owner. Hopefully lots of them found a new place to live and someone who would take them out and about as often as possible. The Pomona Swap Meet is definitely one of those things that anyone who loves cars and trucks needs to experience at least once and it continues to buck the trend of the internet squashing the swap meet. This thing is a monster!

Get ready, California is going to take this all away. I sent the RPM act petition to Kamila Harris, Feinstein, ETC. The response I received in a form letter was how they supported complete change over to electric vehicles, basically go pound sand.

  2. Senator Sam

Same here on the RPM Act petition, Dick Durbin said he was for cleaning up the air. I have not heard from Tammy Duckworth or Rodney Davis. Duckworth will vote party line I’m sure, Davis will probably vote for it but I’ve not heard from either yet.

The philosophy of any good totalitarian democrat is if I don’t like no one should be allowed to do it.
