(Photos by Joe Grippo) – We’re almost out of Joe Grippo photos from the 2014 FE Race and Reunion at Beaver Springs Dragway and that’s a shame because we have loved picking through his stuff from the venerable Pennsylvania strip. Between the drag cars, the show cars, and the scenery at the track, this looked like a great event and Joe said that the dates have already been laid out for a 2015 rendition in the Spring of next year. That means if you are a Ford person and specifically one that revels in the thundering power of modified FE engines, this is your jam and it needs to hit your calendar for next year.
This gallery has lots of show car photos in it with some wheels up drag racing action at the end. The green machine below is probably our favorite car that we have seen out of the show stuff. It looks awesome with the steel wheels and we can only imagine how much power is lurking under that hood. We’re not sure that there’s much neater than a late 1950s car done in a 1960s stripper muscle car style like this one. DO WANT!
