Dirt Dominator: Check Out The Build Of This 700hp Dirt Modified Racing Engine – Mean Small Block!

If there is a place where the traditional small block Chevrolet still rules with impunity, it’s the world of sportsman and short track stock car racing. It’s the engine that built the sport and there’s a massive industry around it so the small block is surely there to say for a while. Also, as we’ll see in this video the fact that you can screw together a 700hp naturally aspirated version out of parts that no one would consider exotic is pretty awesome. This is the newest Horsepower Monster channel video and it looks at the parts, pieces, tricks, and tips that go into building a killer methanol burning Dirt Modified racing engine. We love it.

In the fashion that we have become accustomed to and really enjoy, we get a nice comprehensive video of this build. It doest not drag or linger and it doesn’t spend time trying to be an art project. It is very well shot and edited with great insights and depth placed on areas where its needed, not where someone wants to make themselves sound like the smartest guy in the room.

Your next small block may not be a 700hp race engine but your next small block won’t be too different from what’s being built here in terms of wanting to use great parts, wanting to assemble it correctly, and wanting it to make reliable power. This is a great watch!
