Now this is the type of stuff we love. Great car, solid driver, and honest opinions. 2013 British Touring Car Champion Andrew Jordan got tapped to take a 1926 Frazer Nash onto the race track and drive it as hard as he could, recently. He makes laps in the car and then shares his opinions on the experience. The car is a freak in the fact that it has a 130hp engine and all of the 1928 spec suspensions and stuff. Leaf springs, friction shocks, and tires that are about as wide as a deli-slice of ham are where the real entertainment factor of the car come in. Or in the case of Johnson, the lack of entertainment factor.

He hated it.

And we love the fact that he said it and explained why he did not like it. With no experience in a car of this vintage before, Johnson’s impressions are raw and because he seemingly only has late model race car handling and performance to lean on for background, we can understand why he did. He hated the way the car felt and how it seemed to be ready to tip over in the corners.

The whole thing is cool and we think you should give it a watch.

You forgot to mention the chain drive to the rear end – which was antiquated even by 1928’s standards,
