(Photos by Mike Brooks) – Every state and region has “their” show, right? Wherever you are from, there’s likely a legacy car show or automotive event that is the pride of the area. For New York State, we think that the famed Syracuse Nationals is the big daddy that draws people in from hundreds and hundreds of miles away. Friends of mine from Eastern Massachusetts make the trek every year and they love it.
Shows like the Syracuse Nationals bring out not just thousands of nice cruisers from around the country but they also bring out some of the big dog, big budget builds from the premier shops in the nation. People truly get the best of the best at this event and from all reports, seeing the whole thing is virtually impossible because of its size and scope.
One of the guys who makes Syracuse a yearly pilgrimage is our own Mike Brooks. He was there with his picture taking machine this year and he sent us a pile of great images. This is the group hitting lead off here and we’ll be back with plenty more to gawk at tomorrow!
