Hot Rod Garage Remembers A Friend Lost By Finishing Up His Drift RX-7 Project

His name was Mark Lenardon. He was 26, a videographer, editor, director, and drifting enthusiast. He worked with TEN: The Enthusiast Network in the MindOverEye creative content division, and helped Motor Trend’s Carlos Lago build his “240SS” 1993 Nissan 240SX. He even tried out to be the host of Hot Rod Garage, which wound up going to Tony Angelo. He had a lot going for him, which makes his untimely death earlier this April from a motorcycle accident that much more painful to consider. His loss was felt throughout the community, especially around TEN, where he did work not only for Hot Rod Garage, but Roadkill, Motor Trend and other projects.

Mark liked to drift, and had been working on a Mazda RX-7 FC. It was supposed to be repowered with an LS1 and a T56, but that project was not completed before his passing. Tony, along with fellow drifters Geoff Stoneback and Mike Skudlarek, make it their mission to finish Mark’s Mazda the way he would have wanted it done.
