(Photos by Charles Wickam) – Houston is a car town and you’d have to be some kind of a dummy to not see that. With multiple racing venues from drag strips to dirt and asphalt ovals, well known cruises and events, lots of great builders and fabricators, the place is pretty much crawling with hot rods. We’re not saying that one Autorama show is better than another but if you were ever going to hit the road and check out a show that is outside of your geographical area, this would be one to put reasonably high on the list. There are just so many cars and so much talent in that part of the world, lots of killer stuff shows up. Check out the Chevy truck above, right?!

As we have been telling you we’ll have a week’s worth of photos from this Wickam adventure and from the sounds of it this will not be the last Autorama  that Wickam is pounding out photos for. He let us know that in conversations with show organizers he may be handling photography for a few more of these shindigs across the country. That’s great news because the man is a working’ machine when he gets that camera in his hand.
