Down She Goes: Watch These Guys Install Ridetech Air Ride On A Cool 1967 Lincoln Continental

To us it’s always fun when you get to see wrenching being done on a non-traditional car. It seems like there is no such thing anymore because seemingly every style of old car is internet popular, but let’s be honest, when’s the last time you saw the underside of a 1967 Lincoln Continental convertible?! Yeah, we thought so. That’s what caught our attention for this video which shows the installation of Ridetech air ride on the car you see in the image above.

These massive slab sided Lincolns were the height of cool for their time. If the Cadillac styling of the 1950s defined the brand for that decade, the 1960s Lincolns with their more reserved looks and tighter lines certainly exuded 196os cool better than anything else. These cars were heavy tanks back then and this one being a convertible means that it’s even heavier than that with a reinforced frame and other factory modifications due to the lack of a roof.

The Ridetech air ride system has been proven out over the years in hundreds of applications. The company made their early name on it and then expanded into an incredible array of suspension components and systems that boggles the mind.

If you have ever thought of completing an air ride suspension install on your cruiser, hot rod, or street machine, this video has great detail, showing the work involved. Good stuff!
