Own A C4 Corvette? RideTech Has Two Options To Revamp The Performance Of Your ‘Vette!

At this moment in time, we firmly blieve that the C4 Corvette represents the best performance bang for the buck spend in the used high performance market today. These cars are are the rock bottom of their value cycle right now and you can buy clean examples for way less than $10,000 and there are LOTS of them out there. No, they don’t make huge power but that can be fixed. No they don’t have world class handling, but as we all know that can be fixed as well. RideTech’s here to tell you the same thing.

RideTech is offering two systems for the C4 Corvette now. The first is their popular StreetGrip setup which is a bolt on program that retains the factory leaf spring and will make the car much more capable and to drive. If you want to crank it up a little harder, you can go to the RideTech coil over system which comes with the coil overs, MuscleBar sway bars, Delrin bushings, and the ability to be fine tuned to your exact driving needs. Want to have the ability to cruise comfortably to the auto-cross and then tighten stuff up for competition? This is the direction for you.

The cycle of hot rodding is always on the move. There will forever be “that car” on the bottom of its value arc which has good bones and can be made super fast and fun for cheap. In five years the C4 will be way up in value. Get up in the fun while you can!

I had a ’86 Corvette with the Z51 suspension package, and it’s probably the car I miss the most of all the ones I sold. Other than good shocks and bushings, I probably wouldn’t have done much to the suspension if I kept it – I’d need to spend a few years of practice upgrading my driving skills first.

I bought an 89 last summer. Excellent road trip car going from Cleveland to Calgary and back. I also thing the Z51 package is a pretty solid handler stock, though I will be looking into the Ridetech package.
