The Newest Dodge Ad Features Charger/Challenger Burnouts And The Dodge Brothers Killing Tires In Touring Cars

Chrysler or FCA or whatever the hell the company is called at this point announced a while back that they were going to position Dodge as the performance brand of the group. This would be a brand based around exciting cars, horsepower, noise, and flash/dash appeal to buyers who wanted it. Basically they were grabbing the Car Craft edict of “No Boring Cars!” As history has shown, this was not empty lip service. There’s the Scat Pack option that hit the streets, a reinvigorated Mopar accessory division, and of course the introduction of the Hellcat Chargers and Challengers have all proven that the brand is definitely not going to be sitting around whittling sticks anytime soon. That brings us to the video below.

For a few years now, Dodge has had cool ads. Some of them took shots at other brands, others of them featured the likes of George Washington charging into battle while at the wheel of a Challenger. This one? This one features a pair of guys who the company has brought back from the depths of history as of late, the Doge Brothers. Featured in multiple ads thus far, the Dodge Brother show up in this one at the wheels of two Dodge Brothers Touring Cars and like the Charger and Challenger next to them, they are doing massive burn outs. Clearly this is CGI but we think it is fantastic and now we’re wanting to see someone in an ancient car that doesn’t have enough power to turn the tires on ice actually do a stationary burnout.

This is another cool piece of video from Dodge and we’re kind of envious of the agency that has this account because they are killing it with the ads and message over the last couple of years. What’s more fun than this?

….. all while Stronzetto Marchionne is doing his absolute best to dump Chrysler/Dodge sans JEEP as quickly as possible . Not that there are any takers mind you . I mean seriously . Who the __ wants the two divisions that haven’t made a solitary dime of profit since the 60’s ?

So yeah … the performance division alright . More like the Potemkin Village Division . All Smoke & Mirrors , Hype & Hyperbole and more fudged numbers than a US Senator’s 1040 !

And just think . All this . On OUR freaking dime ! Still ! Regardless of the fact ObamaClaus GAVE Chrysler/Dodge/JEEP to FIAT ! [ we’re still subsidizing all the loans keeping the C/D/J divisions afloat ]

Heard the latest reality check ? 86% of Americans … including the Liberals … were against all the bailouts . And looking where we’re at now with both the General demoted to Buck Private and the international travesty known as FCA …

We were right ! We should of let them die . But hey all you MOPAR faithful … y’all keep believing … it’ll only serve to increase the blow when it all folds before your very eyes … but y’all keep on believing anyway . Delusion being preferable to reality ….

.. in the short run 😉

Clearly you never went to college. If you did there is no way you ever received a passing grade in any class that required you to write a paper because your formatting absolutely SUCKS! As someone who tires to act superior and well educated (or at least well read) you should be ashamed. I can always tell who you are when you change names based on your exhausting use of ellipses.

I agree wholeheartedly. His posts are annoying and off-putting, as well as being off the mark.

To hear him tell it, he has owned every make of high end car there is, has contacts within the financial services industry that the rest of us would somehow envy, and knows everything there is to know. About everything.

        But such is the interwebs.

I figured you would poke your nobby noggin out from under your rock to comment on this.

Whats the matter? Did a K car spank your “Porsche” once? Or was it that VW bus that could out accelerate and out handle any Corvette made(that you crowed about when you went by GuitarSlinger) that got spanked?

The gene pool you came out of sure could use some chlorine.

I feel like their advertisements have been three steps forward, two steps back.
Every time there’s a cool charger doing burnouts or the Dodge brothers racing each other, it’s all undone by the creepy overly-parental duo of that guy from Fast-n-Loud and his Sock Monkey sidekick.

Love or hate Mopars, I got to admit that is one ingenious ad!

    Keep them coming!

Now if I could only afford a new car.
