Backwoods Luxury Cruiser: This Chevy Dually Limo Is Long, Lovely, and Likely Does Not Smell Like A Dream

Backwoods Luxury Cruiser: This Chevy Dually Limo Is Long, Lovely, and Likely Does Not Smell Like A Dream

There’s pro street, there’s pro luxury, there’s professional, and then there’s whatever you can figure to call a dually limo. We’re calling it a backwoods luxury cruiser because frankly that’s what it is. A wheelbase about as long as the Queen Mary, a cab that has been extended by whatever means were available, and a bed that is missing its dually fenders all add to the charm of this 1980s Chevy monster.

There’s no mention made of the engine in this thing or what type it is, big or small block. There’s no mention of interior appointments but let’s be honest here, we all know that the insides of this thing have to be amazing, right? Looking at the craftsmanship of the rest of the project from the extended cab on back, we’re guessing that there’s ostrich leather seats, a bar, a lounge, a shower, a couple of attendants to take care of your needs, and one of those sweet massaging chairs from an old Sharper Image catalog.

The asking price for the truck is just $17,500. That’s about a dollar a foot when you do the math and if you think you could possibly build one of these for less than that number, you’re on glue. Likely not the same glue that this guy was on but glue all the same.

So in all seriousness…if you bought it, how would you finish it? Paint, interior, motor, etc. DOOOO IT!

He is asking $17500.00 for this thing.Man you Chevy guys are nuts about these ugly trucks. If you take away a “0” on the price ,maybe. But what would ya do with it .I know just drive it .I get that. But have you ever driven a bus in traffic or in a parking lot? With what interior work costs today,$17500.00 is what it would cost to do a half assed inside

I would say it is worth $175.00. It looks like a half ass unfinished project that would take three times the asking price to complete.

Never pay more than scrap price for a project like this. But of course, being a Chevy, I repeat myself…
