100 Years Of Chevrolet Trucks: This New Commercial Is Pretty Awesome Wether You Like ‘Em or Not!

100 Years Of Chevrolet Trucks: This New Commercial Is Pretty Awesome Wether You Like ‘Em or Not!

So Chevrolet is celebrating its 100th anniversary in the truck business in 2018 and they have gotten the party started a little early with some videos and a cool one minute commercial that takes the history of the brand and shows it with killer snippets of old commercials. There’s a lot of win stacked up in this fast moving minute. Even if you are not a Chevrolet fan, even if you HATE Chevy trucks, 100 years of doing anything is pretty impressive. There are lots of great companies that did not make it to 100 and Chevrolet continues to keep cranking out millions of trucks per year. Are we in the tank for these guys? No. We’d do the same if it was Ford or Dodge doing the same thing.

Check out this video and after you watch it we want to know what your favorite generation of Chevrolet trucks is? Are you into the Advance Design trucks that came out after the war? Maybe the Round Line trucks of the 1970s and 1980s, maybe somewhere in the middle or perhaps later? Pickup trucks are a far cry from what they were even 20 years ago. These things are the pistons that drive the profits of companies like Chevrolet. They are big margin products and they can not make them fast enough to meet the demands of the buying public.

Detroit has never screwed up pickup trucks. Though their darkest days they have stood in there and manufactured vehicles that meet the needs of working Americans or these days Americans who want to LOOK like working Americans. Either way, the have filled a void and sold like hotcakes for 100 years!
