(By Greg Rourke) – So what’s the story here? Not much to tell, just a freight train rockin’ down the rails, and a rare January tornado that had other plans for said train.

The first minute of the video shows nothing out of the ordinary, just as the railroad likes it. At about one minute, the weather starts going sideways…literally. An F2 tornado knocks a few cars off the rails just behind the locomotive. To make matters worse, they get dragged across a bridge before they come to a grinding, sparking halt. Well, that’s over. Ruh roh, maybe not… here comes the whole rest of the train, lead by a tank car full of who knows what. We can guess it’s something we don’t want spread over half of Northern Illinois.
