BangShift and GOJO Industries Team Up for the “The GOJO Giveaway 2012” – 10 Weeks of Prizes!

BangShift and GOJO Industries Team Up for the “The GOJO Giveaway 2012” – 10 Weeks of Prizes!

Wrenching season is going at full tilt all across America. From coast to coast car guys and girls are getting greasy, oily, dirty, and grimy, each and every day working on their cars and trucks. With all that dirt, grease, and grime comes the need to clean it up. The best way to do that in our experience is with GOJO products and we’ve teamed up with the men and woman of GOJO Industries on a 10-week program we’re calling, “The GOJO Giveaway 2012″. Over the next 10 weeks we’ll be awarding GOJO prize packs to the winners of various contests we’ll be having three times a week, starting Monday.

GOJO was born in the 1940s as a small business run by a husband and wife. Since then, the company has grown to become an international operation that services the needs of many industries and arenas for hand hygiene and skin care. We’re going to concentrate on the automotive targeted portion of GoJos offerings because that’s the stuff that we use and you should be using, too. Between the Buford T Justice transmission swap on the east coast and Chad’s wrenching on his new Suburban project our west, we’ve been a couple of dirty dogs over the last few weeks. Using harsh solvents like brake cleaner, gasoline, or paint thinner to clean hands is a really bad idea on several levels, and trying to cut tough soils and grime with normal soaps is a giant waste of time, that’s where GOJO comes in. In the same way you wouldn’t use a monkey wrench to put the drain plug back in your oil pan, you shouldn’t use inferior or dangerous products to clean your hands with.

Skin and hand care are not things you probably think about on a daily basis, and frankly if you use the right stuff to clean up with you won’t have to.  Using solvents to clean your hands can leave them dry, cracked, and in pain. Not to mention the risks of accidentally ingesting something that could make you ill or even introducing it into your blood supply through cuts and scrapes. We believe in GOJO products and we’re very excited to turn BangShifters onto the benefits of using them. Trust us, if we didn’t know that GOJO Industries made the best stuff on the planet, we wouldn’t be singing their praises from the hills.

How do you participate?

Next week’s theme is going to be showing us your best “GoJo Moment”. That means we want photos of your greasy, oily, and dirty hands! We’re going to compile the photos and put them up for a vote on the BangShift Facebook page. The gnarly hands that get the most votes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will all be awarded a GoJo prize pack that will include GOJO products and a signed hero card from Rich Hanna, the driver of the GOJO sponsors Firebird Jet Funny Car.

Snap a quick photo with your phone or digital camera and email it to [email protected] – include your name and address so if you win, we can get your prize pack rolling quickly!

What are the other weeks going to bring?

Each week will have a different theme so some weeks we’ll be sending you on a hunt for a secret word or phrase, maybe we’ll have you trying to identify historic racers in all of their greasy goodness, and there will definitely be a surprise or two along the way!

STAY TUNED, THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT! WE’RE SUPER EXCITED TO BE TEAMED UP WITH GOJO INDUSTRIES ON THIS GIVEAWAY PROGRAM. GET GREASY AND GET READY TO WIN FREE STUFF!
