Bullets, Fingers Fly at Aussie Drag Strip During Crazy Biker Brawl

Bullets, Fingers Fly at Aussie Drag Strip During Crazy Biker Brawl

A recent motorcycle drag racing event at the Perth Motorplex in Perth, Australia turned violent when rival biker gangs got into an altercation. There were bikers wounded by bullets, fists, and in at least one case, a dude lost several fingers to a gory knife wound. Here we thought that North America had a handle on the violent Harley gang scene. We were way wrong.

Government officials are investigating the event due to concerns about the security plans for the event. The facility is owned and operated by the government and police officials believe that there should have been officers assigned to the event to prevent something like this from happening.

There were several different gangs on the property, the Finks, the Coffin Cheaters, and the Club Deroes. Police believe that a member of the Coffin Cheaters spit on a member of the Finks and then all hell broke loose. According to the story on WaToday.com, the engine noise from the motorcycles masked the sounds of gunfire.

No surprisingly, gang members had their wounded brothers loaded up and off the premises before the police showed up at the track.

Some have an oddly romantic picture of what motorcycle gang life is like. Make no mistake, it is as violent, dangerous, and illegal as any other type of gang existence. Stuff like this proves it.
