The International Harvester 345 and 392ci V8 engines were tough, heavy, and thirsty engines. The 345 was the biggest engine offered in the venerable Scout and despite being a workaday oxen of an engine, there are crazies out there bent on getting the most power out of them that they can. This engine is 100% BangShift approved!

Wearing a big blower on top of a custom built manifold, this ‘Binder 345 makes a reported 432 hp at 4800RPM and a tug boat like 500 ft/lbs of torque at 3700RPM. Sure there are easier ways to make power and cheaper ones too, but you really have to dig dudes who would dedicate themselves into making a boring lump of iron like this engine in stock form a blown screamer.
