When a couple of young punks waited in the shadows for elderly junkyard owner Stanley Tabaj to open his Pennsylvania business last Monday they thought a couple of baseball bats and a taser would be plenty of firepower to subdue the old man. Boy were they wrong, and to make matters better he was not only able to fend them off, he shot one of them before he could run off. 

The two would-be thieves are 18 and 20 years old. According to a story from WPXI.com, they struck Tabaj with baseball bats several times. We’re not sure if they tased him or not, but judging by the guy’s attitude, it would not have slowed him down at all.

“They come in with two ball bats and a Taser and started beating on me. They hit me once there, hit me once there, broke this hand here, hit me on the elbow with aluminum bats.”

He then said, “I grabbed the shotgun. It was sitting there and when he went around the corner of the building, I shot him.

The closing line is epic. “I might be an old man, but you don’t play with this old man. Believe me.”
