Casey is making big things happen on the $3,500 build and that means getting the suspension finished up, mounting the body where it needs to go, and adding turbos. Wait, turbos? Yeah, apparently Casey is talking turbos, but you’ll have to watch the latest video to find out why. Bagging a custom that is being built for just $3,500 is TOUGH and Casey has his work cut out for him, but he’s jamming and in the videos below you’ll get caught up on the build to the point of test fitting the body to the chassis with its new suspension on it!
After successfully building an F100 for just $1,000, it would seem that building a 1951 Chevy would be a snap for $3,500. But it’s not that simple when you consider what Casey is going to do, as this project will include a very interesting chassis swap, chop top, air ride, interior, and more. While it will be a patina-style build it is going to be cool as hell and something you could drive cross country with no issues. We dig these cars and this one is the perfect candidate for a chassis swap and rebuild. We approve, and can’t wait to see it come to fruition.
Stay tuned, because Casey is serious about the budget and sells as much as he can off the donor or project vehicle so that he can really make things work. On the $1,000 build, he even included a tools list and how much each of them cost. This guy is thorough.
