The midwest is finally past that cute little snowstorm that struck last week. Most of the snow and ice has melted away and what’s left isn’t anything to worry about. That couldn’t be said a week ago, when I was going through can after can of deicer just to get to the point where I could open a car door. It took almost an hour to open up my wife’s truck, a bit longer than that to open up the Chrysler, and within a day or two I learned an important lesson: the 300C is absolute crap in fresh snow. I was able to move my car maybe twenty feet in my own driveway before it became apparent that I was going nowhere quickly. And that’s annoying, because this is the first rear-drive Mopar I’ve had that doesn’t cut it in the snow!
And that made finding this trar all the more infuriating. The body and interior is 1993 Plymouth Acclaim, everything below the body line is 1977 Chevrolet Blazer. Don’t bother trying to figure out the “why”…just notice that it has a plow up front, the 350/TH350 combo moving it all, and an expensive set of General Grabber red-letter tires all the way around this…um…creation. The interior is stock 1993 Plymouth, so that isn’t so bad, but there is no feasible way that this vehicle could ever be titled for road use without some work, so unless you only need a plow for your driveway, you might want to think twice. Then again, how often can you say that you have the most badass Plymouth Acclaim in the state?
