Remember the first time you got to drive something? We’re not talking about a four wheeler, snowmobile, or dirt bike, we mean something substantial of the four wheeled variety. Some of our earliest “self piloting” memories involve a fork truck, but for the kiddo featured in this video, he can claim his first ride was a vintage Ford 8N tractor. Bonus points are added because his dad teaches him how to do donuts!
BangShift.com forum member Jeremy George recently dragged home and quickly rehabbed a wayward Ford 8N tractor, and after getting it back running, he plunked his son Cam (how’s that for a gearhead name!) in the seat out in an open field and turned on the video camera.
The fact that Cam managed to perfect clutch operation, the “swerve at dad” manuver, and donuts during his first experience on the tractor, tells us that his gearhead future is bright!
