This Looks Really Really Dangerous… Dear Santa, All I Want For Christmas Is This Small Block Powered…

This looks really really dangerous. Some might even say stupid. Especially if you believe the Zero – 60 number of 1.94 seconds, which seems like an odd number for someone to make up so we’ll go with it being real. Plus, if this is the most week suck 200 horsepower small block this insane V8 Quad should still haul ass. If anyone with half an ounce of skill built it, it should be just plain silly. When our friend Jon Killion sent this one in to us, we weren’t very excited at first glance. But knowing Jon like we do, we figured if he was excited there must be more to see.

We’ve looked at the photos as closely as we can, and it appears that this bad boy is all C4 Corvette underneath. Front suspension and steering all appears to be C4 Corvette, and so does the rear. All of it installed under what can only be described as an ultra lightweight tube frame with a small block in it. It does appear to have a transmission in it to us, which means this little sucker has to be the most insane thing you can sit your ass onto. I want one. Wait! I have all the parts to build this sitting right here at home!

What do you think about this one? It’s got a seat belt! Would you drive it?

Here are all the photos, and a link to the original ad so you can buy it. One thing you will notice though, that shouldn’t surprise you, is that fact that this quad is for sale in Australia! Man we love the Aussies.

The crazy part is that there is room for a passenger, just in case there are two people insane enough to get on that thing…
BTW, I dig the C10 stepper in the background

Yeah, the C10 looks cool, along with the Karhman-Ghia? too. I wonder if it’s a genuine patina or painted that way?. Anyhoo, I can’t understand the “craziness” or insanity of getting on it and riding it. I’d get on it in a second and feel it out for a bit,(steering, handling, shifting, etc.), and then CRAM on the gas pedal to the point of denting the floorboard!! Then after doing the 0-60 in 1.94 seconds, change my droors.

I’d ride/drive it. If the price is right I would buy it. I agree with a decent paint job, it would be pretty good looking. Nice job of the fab work. What does this guy have against paint? All the vehicles are in primer of some sort.

My wife (who is an RN) say’s she could place a rectal tube 6 inches in one second if whoever rides that thing and falls off and ends up in her hospital.

The article mentioned this quad being built in Australia, Wrong they are made in the U.S. and the suspension is indeed c-4 the entire frame is stainless and polished to a mirror finish, so is the suspension, the inside of the wheels are even polished, it has a th-350 with a stall, the seat belts are there due to the law, it drives awesome, breaks wonderfully, and can hold 15 gallons of gas, and yes there have been passengers on it, I know this because I am the builder. By the way its not scary to drive, it only goes as fast as you make it go but it accelerates as fast as you can dream of! If your interested in that one or a custom one feel free to call me at (775)-835-2703 and thanks for checking it out!

If you fall off that thing, you’ll already have something up your a**. And every other opening and some new ones too.

It looks bad ass. The one negative that jumps out to my right away is the trailing edge of the hood will turn into a guillotine if you were to run into something. I still want one though!!

This looks like alot of fun, I wonder how the steering works? I know the one in the Hot Rod magazine has like backwards steering to make a left you turn right.
