This One Owner, Barn Find, 1972 Camaro Is In Near Pristine Condition And It Could Be Yours!

This One Owner, Barn Find, 1972 Camaro Is In Near Pristine Condition And It Could Be Yours!

This is one of those grandma model Camaros, but man is it clean and nice with low miles. Honestly, this is the 2nd Gen Camaro you buy and just drive it. Screw taking it and making it super fast or adding a bunch of suspension to it. I’d drive this thing stock, or near stock, for as long as I could stand it. Just look at it! It’s not cheap, but it sure is clean and there is most certainly not a spec of rust in the bottom of this car. I dig the look and think the price is probably pretty fair considering the condition of this thing. Read the listing below to see just what we’re talking about.

Before that big faggot from Britain says anything bad about this Camaro, it looks gorgeous. You don’t always need to have a Z28, Super Sport or Rally Sport to have fun.

  2. Mopar or No Car

Nice car that he worked very hard to clean. Call it a “survivor”. What it is not is a museum piece, and the ad copy reveals this seller has much experience flipping cars.

When did 89,000 become “low miles”?

      1. HotRodPop

I drive to work and to the doctor, about 2500 a year, don’t make my truck “low mile”. 89,000 ain’t low.

      2. Mopar or No Car

I was waiting for that. And 89,000 / 89 years is 1000 miles per year avg. Chad didn’t write “low average miles per year”. He wrote “low miles”.

I just bought a 15-year-old car off the dealer lot with 16,000 miles. That’s “low miles”.

      3. Ace\'s Automotive

Thats not how you figure miles of being high vs. low….in fact, your factor is irrelevant in the equation. How you do it is to consider what the average car back then went in duration, approximately 90-115k. See where you\’re going wrong here? So now when the fellow asked \”when did 89k become low mileage?\” now you see his point. We\’re just not talking about a \’94 Civic.

        1. Ron Sowers

89k miles on 1972 car was a lot for cars of that period. Motors were just about shot back then.
Motor oils were not as good back then as they are today. However, it still is a nice looking car.

      1. Aaron Angle

That is stupid what does politics or Trump have to do with this car? You\’re that desperate to bash the POTUS? Sad snowflake go cry in your safe place

      1. Mopar or No Car

Compared to what in the same price range? Look for a restored car and see what you can get. If “original” is your bag then okay. Other than that I do not see the value in this car when you can get restored or restomodded in the same price range with lower miles and a better owner experience.

  3. OKSnake08

If it’s the car you want fine. Price is too much for not enough in my eyes. Spend 24k on late model muscle and get more of everything for your dollar. Any late model performance car will do it all and all of it better than this EXCEPT be a second gen. Camaro so if that’s your jam more power to you.

        1. Mark Schutz

That\’s easy…Because Trump is the hater that ruined everything. The few people who disagree with me haters themselves, or stupid morons. And just in case you are wondering, I live in ND and I\’m no fing snowflake.

  4. HotRodPop

Visual restoration, not “survivor” or “barn find”. Nice, but a flipper who spent too much money on a 12-15k car, remember what P.T. Barnum said… And, Tony, ease up on the tea-sipper, dude, dementia is irreversible!

    1. Charles Colfax

      Ayup.
      Rust on the speedo screws.
      Missing a door sill screw.
      Been repainted.
      Seats reupholstered.

Not a true *barn find* or *survivor*.
Not a Mecum or B-J level car either.

The ad copy reads like a used car salesman still reeling from last night\’s coke binge.

It\’s a really nice car. I agree that it should be a driver. Would be great fun at Friday night cruise-ins.
I\’d put those OE mags and GY Polyglass\’s up for sale to the hardcore resto guys; pick up a set of chrome Cragar SS\’s, wrap them in Cooper Cobras or BFG Radial TA\’s for a period correct (late 70\’s-early 80\’s) look and roll.

      But not for $24k

  5. HotRodPop

Went back and looked again at the pics… how is this car SOOO clean but has rust on the speedometer face?!? Oops…

      1. Al

John. Everyone thinks they have amicum car. I can pass by the opportunists as there’s plenty of others out there. . Patients is my best virtue and I’ve always gotten what I wanted at my price.

    1. Falcn

This is not the actual person selling the car, this is an article about the ad selling the car. You will need to go to the original as and message the seller.

  6. Gene Mccarl

A lot of you arnt old enough to appreciate the rairity of this car in this condition nothing is perfect but it\’s probably in top 1 percent all things considered just try to restore one and you do most of the work & see what you have in it and likely it will be half assed for double the price it\’s a find if it\’s the model you desire
