(Words and Photos by Mike Brooks) – I capped off my July 4th weekend with one of my favorite car shows of the year, and it just so happens to be my hometown show. The Lakeshore Street Rod Association has been holding it’s annual Harbor Cruise for years right on the scenic shores of Lake Erie. Point Gratiot Park in Dunkirk, NY was the perfect backdrop for the hundreds of custom and classic rides that showed up from western NY, northern PA, and eastern OH. Club members were on hand to collect donations for various charities. The show has a cool laid back vibe, no fees, no trophies. Just bring your junk and hangout for the afternoon.
