After a couple days straight of truck photos from the Pomona Swap Meet, the cat calls started. “Were there any cars there?” Of course there were cars there, people. I was just trying to push my truck agenda and you called me out on it which is why I respect all of you…most of you….a strong minority of you. All of this is beside the point because there were some bitchin’ cars at the event and we’re going to start showing them to you in this gallery and over the next few days you’ll see everything that we saw. This gallery has an interesting distinction in BangShift history which you need to be aware of. There are more Edsels in this gallery than any other gallery we have ever posted. There are restored ones and hammered ones to go along with the other wild mix of cars in this gallery.

The Pomona swap meet is part car show, part swap meet, and part ace excuse to drink beer way too early on a Sunday and look at freaky people walk around. Basically we have described every swap meet ever, but the Pomona one does it on a grand scale. Guys are stacked up like cordwood before dawn to get in for a prime spot to sell everything from old magazines to, well, Edsels. We know west coast vacationers who planned their trip AROUND the Pomona swap meet just so they could go there and torture themselves with all the cool cars and parts. Sounds like fun, eh?
