I finally got my lazy ass back to the biggest and baddest cruise night on the East Coast of the USA. The Mass. Cruisers Association bi-monthly cruise night at the Bass Pro Shops in Foxboro, Massachusetts is alive and well with more than 2,000 cars packing in the massive lot last night. I patrolled the show with BS contributing photographer Dave Nutting, BS’er Pete who owns a killer ’67 Chevelle, my father in law who cruised his 1969 GTX down, and my kids. The weather was minto and the vehicular turnout was totally bitchin’.
With 2,000+ cars on hand there is going to be a full gamut of stuff. From lead sleds to lifted diesel trucks, muscle cars, t-buckets, some lame late models, and some jaw dropping show queens, we aren’t really sure why we’d ever go to a local car show again after being hooked on this event. We spent about 3.5 hours walking around, shooting the breeze, and enjoying the evening. At about 7:15 the show started to clear out and we did with it.
I zapped a gallery of about 90 photos of cool and generally neat stuff that I saw. In two weeks I’ll be back and I’ll be at the helm of Brutus the wrecker for added fun!

I’d hoped to make it out to this yesterday, but discovered the odd noise in the drivetrain of the ’64 Falcon Wagon is a terrifyingly worn out U-joint(1/4″+ of play between the yoke & driveshaft) and by the time I found that it was too late to clean up and take the DD out.
