(Photos by Joe Grippo) – A couple weeks back our man Joe Grippo was at the NHRA Division One points meet held at the historic Englishtown Raceway Park in New Jersey. Like always, Joe had his camera handy and shot this cool gallery featuring some of the coolest cars both on the track and in the pits. Grippo concentrated his photos on the stock and super stock guys, with a couple of Competition Eliminator cars thrown in for good luck.
E-town marked the end of the 2012 NHRA Division One schedule so the racing was hot and heavy as divisional champions were crowned. Like at all good drag races, the action was unpredictable, there were upsets, and some of the favorites mowed ’em down like weeds. Joe had his eyes on and picked some great cars to aim the camera at. As the drag racing season starts to slow around the country, we’re not giving in that easy. Dudes like Grippo and our other contributors across the globe will be sending in great stuff for weeks to come!

Cool Cadillac. Would have been sorta nice if BS had gotten the tech 411 on the engine and drivetrain. Or is it stock?
