Event Coverage: Part One Of The 2015 Nashville Auto Fest – Kicking Off The New Year With Cars And A Swapmeet!

The Nashville Auto Fest is a neat combination of a swap meet and an indoor car show wrapped up into one package. Held at the Nashville Expo Center (formerly known as the Tennessee State Fairgrounds), the show gives off a mini-SEMA vibe of sorts. No, there’s no new cars there and the public is more than welcome to come in, but you have building after building filled with cars and vendors, and it ranges from mild to wild. In fact, there was enough good stuff being shown that I’m breaking the coverage up into two parts! Check out the photos and see for yourself!

Let’s start this off right with a bona-fide 1969 Hemi Super Bee. This one is a spotless restoration and was right inside the door.

Can’t go wrong with a flamed hot rod. Unfortunately I deleted the info I had on this rod, so the next time I’m in Somerset, KY I’ll have to step into the shop and ask.

One of the more high-dollar show cars there, this Chevrolet truck all shine, from bumper to bumper.

To counteract the Chevy truck, this ’55 gasser was anything but shine.

This clean and simple Ford was hidden pretty well among other cars. I love the look of this car…and I’m not much for traditional hot rods.

This Grabber Green ’70 Torino is a legit 429CJ. Absolutely drool-worthy.

For the truck guys, a mildly customized Cheyenne.

This 340 Duster looked mean as I walked up on it…

…but I did not expect it to be that mean. More street cars need NASCAR engines.

That ’72 Duster is a beautiful machine ruined by a pair of $15 Advance Auto exhaust tips. I mean come-on! Really!?
