Lead East, the rollicking car show created by Terry Cook, and known as the “World’s Largest 50s Party,” is kicking off as you read this in Parsippany, New Jersey. The show is humongous, drawing several thousand cars that range from traditional kustoms to straight axle hell raisers that troll the parking lots that make up the show.
There’s lots of fun stuff to do and activities like a sock hop, and the conversion of one side of a building into a legit drive-in theater for show goers to enjoy at night are just a couple examples of the fun you’ll have. The cars are top shelf as well. We last attended in 2008 and had a total blast.
BangShift forum member Caveman Tony was on the property of the Parsippany Hilton where the first arrivals were pulling in on Wednesday night. He sent us a dispatch of iPhone photos and we compiled them into a small gallery for your viewing pleasure.
If you have any free time this weekend and can make the trip to New Jersey, do it! This is one riot of a car show!
