This Bitchin Old Pratt And Whitney 10 Inch Engine Lathe Would Be A Great Addition To Anyone’s Shop

I don’t own a lathe, but I sure would love to have one. That and a mill would be awesome. Of course, when I think of a lathe I’d like to have I never thought about one this old. This is a Pratt and Whitney 10 inch engine lathe that was probably built in the early 20th century, but I’m not sure exactly. Regardless, this is one seriously stout old machine and I dig it. If I had the money and space at the moment, this is another thing I’d be buying. No, it’s not some new electronically controlled lathe, but for what I would need one for I am sure this old girl could make it happen. And can you imagine all the cool things it has probably made in its life at the hands of some machinist? I dig it.

Super cool old Belt driven lathe. I think it has a bad electrical cord. Comes with extra gears and pieces. Open to possible trades. $800.00 or best offer need it gone. I can load with a forklift.

If ya have the room for it. and at $800 or trade. It’s well worth it. I have an old lathe also. Don’t use it much. But sure am glad I have it when I do.
