Fifteen Year Old Kid Buys And Crashes Aston Martin In The Span Of Three Days…How?

Fifteen Year Old Kid Buys And Crashes Aston Martin In The Span Of Three Days…How?

When I was fifteen, all four cars I had owned up to that point had a total collective value of maybe $1500 between them. Konstantin P., a fifteen-year-old goalkeeper for the Zenith-84 soccer team in Russia, is doing a hell of a lot better than most people on planet Earth, then, because on New Year’s Eve, Konstantin and two teenaged friends visited a man named Dimitry and paid for the Aston Martin in cash, then asked him to leave the car in the city center.

Three days later, the unlicensed teen was out and about when he was struck by a Volkswagen Tiguan in the right-side door. Konstantin panicked and fled the scene, though he did manage to tell press that he blamed the Tiguan driver for the accident. The teenager is now looking at several charges, including fleeing the scene of an accident, as well as a pissed-off father, who, according to Konstantin, bought him the car as a gift.

Any parent who is buying their kid a car needs to realize that some of the experience they’re gonna have is going to be BAD experience. It just doesn’t make any sense to buy anything other than a “beater” until they’ve got a year’s worth of driving experience. Even if they don’t have a mishap, they should develop an appreciation for something nicer when they earn it.

all true…. another consideration is that the kid is 15 !!!!!! the hell is wrong with the idiot parent? forget how old they are?? having said that I had my first car at 13 – but I bought it against my parents wishes and it was a total fixer upper I never did get on the road ( but I learned a hell of a lot on..)

When I was 15 the only car I ever owned was worth $15. A neighbor gave me a beat up 46 Ford when I was 10.

Hopefully, a lesson was learned… by the IDIOT parent who thought an Aston Martin was a logical gift for a 15yr old… an unlicensed, inexperienced kid!!!
My first vehicle, which I miss desperately, was a 1960 Studebaker truck, & no one worried if I might scratch or damage it, but rather what I might damage with it! 😉 (thank you grandad, I sure do miss it, & you, both very much…
