Just when you thought it was safe to go outside, the people who brought you the first four “Fast and Furious” movies are apparently gearing up for at least one more. Vin Diesel made a post on his Facebook page that seems to point toward new scripts being developed and more hokey car action on the way. We’ll have to ask our old pal Freiburger if they are going to have the F-Bomb pulling the wheels on a frozen lake or something.
Like a post on MotorAuthority.com says, these are movies that we love to hate in a certain sense. They’re about the only thing car guys have to cling to in the movie department lately and the inclusion of some sweet domestic iron in the last movie raised the fun factor of watching the movie.
Yes they wreck stuff left and right, yes they’re more known for popularizing the annoying term “Naws,” and yes, there’s still some glorification of neon lights and barf inducing paint jobs, but we’ll be in line to see the next one, even just to bag on it if necessary.
