Lingenfelter 445 Trans Am Concept: Fly or Fugly?

Lingenfelter 445 Trans Am Concept: Fly or Fugly?

We’ll admit something. When we first saw the photos of the Lingenfelter 445 Trans Am, a 2010 Camaro reworked into a Pontiac, we weren’t super impressed. In fact, our first impression was not positive at all. Then we really started looking at the photos and the whole thing started working for us. We dig it, do you?

Our blogging brothers (and sisters) in arms over at Car Domain ran an item yesterday showcasing the car and delivering some of the info on its development. The one thing that struck us had nothing to do with the nose or tail of the car that the Lingenfelter shop has installed, in fact those look awesome. Our issue is with the length of the car. The whole things looks (to us) a little compact from the side. Pontiacs always had the appearance of being longer than their Chevy counterparts. Understanding that there are limitations on what Lingenfelter can do with the car, they hit all the bases correctly and present a good product that we believe could hit the ground and be sold at a dealer in a heart beat.
